Wutan Canada Tribute

He passed away June 2 leaving a huge vacuum in the martial arts world. He has accomplished so much in his short life time.   Our deepest condolences to Mike’s family and all the students and instructors of Wutan Belgium.

Mikeeee – We’ll miss you.

  1. Marc Nadeau: I am deeply saddened by this sudden loss, Mike was such a great guy. My condolences to his family and to Rosa, his students, friends and peers. I will remember the times that I was with him fondly, he truely was a gift to our community.

  2. Pat Lawler:

I had no idea that Mike had a life-threatening affliction. When did he pass?

Please pass on my heartfelt condolences to Rosa.

This is very sad – not only that martial arts has lost a great practitioner but that he was also a really nice man. I still do his stance practice with my students and Erin used it as a gym project at Dawson. It made even the macho guys sweat.

I shared some laughs with him on a few occasions and for that I’ll always remember him.
Remember the wild time in Toronto and the less-wild time in Ottawa when he had trouble getting through customs?

    Pat L.
